Nova SBE Future Board Opt-in Consent
NForum Executivos – Formação e Consultoria, Unipessoal, Lda. (henceforth, “NForum”), Nova School of Business and Economics’ (henceforth, “Nova SBE”) Knowledge Centers manager, is developing Nova SBE Future Board, a new platform in which NForum will collect personal data from Nova SBE’s students, staff, professors and alumni (together, the “Nova SBE Community”) and their replies to different surveys, with a view to, ultimately, gather information about future consumer needs and preferences with the aim to discover insights for an inspiring tomorrow. Nova SBE Future Board members, will share their opinions and visions, to better understand the future trends, and translate insights to innovate and co-create new products, services, business models or even companies. Nova SBE Future Board will produce statistics and reports based on participants’ inputs, in an aggregated (non-identifiable) format.
In that context, Nova SBE, in the quality of data controller, and only upon your consent, would like to periodically (every six months, to keep your data up-to-date) transfer data relating to the program you are enrolled in, date of admission, your year of birth, your gender, nationality, country of residence and postal code to NForum. This allows NForum to confirm that you are part of the Nova SBE Community and for it to segment its statistics and reports based on your demographic profile according to the abovementioned characteristics.
Nova SBE will store the abovementioned personal data as long as it is providing academic services to you, and for an additional 10 (ten) years after the termination of said service provision, for statistical purposes. Nova SBE may process said personal data for a longer period, in case you adhere to the Nova SBE Alumni Club, for the duration of membership to the Club.
In accordance with the applicable laws, you have the following rights in respect of the personal data Nova SBE processes in the abovementioned terms - Data subject rights:
1. Right of access
Right to obtain from NForum confirmation as to whether or not your personal data is being processed, and, where that is the case, to obtain a copy of the personal data undergoing processing.
The right to obtain the aforementioned copy shall not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others, including NForum’s business secrets or intellectual property, in particular the copyright protecting the software.
2. Right to rectification
The right to obtain from NForum, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate personal data that relates to you.
3. Right to erasure
The right to obtain from NForum the erasure of your personal data without undue delay.
Such right shall not apply when data processing is necessary for the fulfilment of legal obligations applicable to NForum or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims or whenever courts are acting in their judicial capacity.
4. Right to restriction of processing
The right to obtain from NForum the restriction of processing of personal data, by suspending the processing or limiting the processing to certain categories of personal data or certain processing purposes.
5. Right to data portability
The right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to NForum, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and have the right to transmit those data to another entity acting as data controller.
6. Right to object
The right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you that NForum may undergo pursuant to its legitimate interests.
7. Right to withdraw consent
The right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data, through any means provided by Nova SBE, at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the data transfers which were based on your consent before its withdrawal.

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial action, you have the right to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, your place of work or of an alleged infringement of the data protection legal framework, should you consider that the processing of your data by Nova SBE at any time breaches said legal framework.
